Amy is a creative and energetic teacher with ten years’ experience of teaching English Language, Literature and Media as well as leading on Literacy and PSHCE in schools in Coventry and Warwickshire. She is a passionate advocate of the importance of the link between literacy skills and raising aspiration in young people and adults alike.
Melinda is an experienced study-skills workshop designer and presenter, working in schools all over the UK. Passionate about understanding how we learn, she is currently studying for a Masters Degree in Neuroscience, Psychology and Education at the University of Bristol.
Jane has 25 years experience working as a product specialist and trainer within the commercial sector. In 2008, she transferred her skills to primary education; her passion for helping pupils achieve their potential and her love of literacy led her to Sound Training.
Senior partnership coordinator
Emma is a modern languages graduate who uses her 20 years’ administration and customer service experience, to support operational management. A passionate reader enthusiastic about helping others to succeed, Emma supports and develops new team members.
Verity has a background in sales, marketing and fundraising. She has a Law degree from King’s College London and a Masters in Political Theory and Public Ethics. She is eager to bring her experience and enthusiasm to the role and has a particular interest in supporting learners with additional needs.
Daniel has over five years of experience working within business development as well as having run his own business. He uses his passion for sales with his experience and expertise to support the growth ambitions of Lexonik.
Edward has over two years experience developing businesses and helping to partner with other businesses. Additional skills, such as becoming versed in developing teaching sports days for children, have supported Edward’s combined interest in education and sales.
With a background in administration and clerical work for the past 15 years, Tina maintains the efficient running of the office. She supports the team with administrative functions on a day to day basis.
Claire has over seven years experience in sales and customer service throughout several industries.
She is a keen team player and uses her previous skill set and knowledge to assist the business development at Lexonik.
Training and recruitment coordinator
Marcela is Sound Training’s recruitment and training officer. A qualified TESOL Teacher from the Czech Republic, she has always been fascinated with English language and literature. Marcela works within the operations team to support recruitment and training.
International projects administrator
Louise is an International Business & Languages graduate with a minor in Cross Cultural Business Skills. Her knowledge, along with her multicultural background, is ideal for supporting Lexonik in expanding its International Projects.
Gemma combines her computer and communication skills to provide administrative support to the business. MHFA Youth qualified, Gemma has previously devoted time to a children’s mental health charity and worked within a school. Her experience has reinforced her belief that education plays a part in deterring issues. With Lexonik, Gemma thinks she has found the opportunity to apply her skills while fulfilling a desire to better the lives of others.
